TANEYHILLS COMMUNITY LIBRARY
The Library is staffed by
volunteers under the direction of a paid Library
Director and two Library Clerks. The staff seeks
to provide attentive, personalized service in an
atmosphere conducive to ever-increasing use of
good books in the community.
Taneyhills Community Library
receives its financial support from the "Friends
of the Library," a group which raises funds from
numerous sources, including a Thrift Shop, Used
Book Store, memorial gifts, donations, events,
and other projects. The Library receives no
local, State, or Federal tax monies.
The Library continues to operate
because of the help of many volunteers. This is
an excellent way to give back to the community.
If interested, please
to print an application form. Mail to the
Director or bring it into the Library.
Volunteers can choose to work in the Library,
Thrift shop, Children’s programs, Used Bookstore
or other services as determined by the Director.
Most volunteers work a few hours per week.
The Library regularly receives
donations from the community in the form of
items for the Thrift Shop, used books and
library materials, monetary
donations and volunteerism.
Please consider a donation to the Library.
