Annual Geranium Sale:
The Taneyhills Community Library will be
holding its yearly Geranium Sale Thursday,
April 27th Noon until closing,
Friday April 28th, and Saturday
April 29th until 1 P.M. Cost will
be the same as last year: $10 per plant.
Other annuals will also be sold.

Adelyn Valett Art Competition:
This competition and exhibition is planned
for Tuesday, May 9th at the
Taneyhills Community Library at 7 P.M.
Art work in various mediums from Branson and
Hollister High School students are showcased
at this event. The public is invited for
viewing, awards ceremony and reception. This
is a juried show and monetary prizes are
awarded to the First, Second, Third, and
Honorable Mention winners.
Join our new history discussion club, which
is a group for history buffs, focusing on
outstanding people and events of the period
between 1932 and WWII. Each participant is
to read a book related to the chosen monthly
topic and then attend the meeting for
discussion. Meetings will be held on the 4th
Friday of each month at 1:00 P.M. in the
Stanley and Elaine Ball Technology Room of
the Taneyhills Community Library.
Interesting facts and questions emerge at
each session. Come and join in on the fun.

The Book Group, in honor of our friend Sarah
Klinefelter, is well into its third year and
we continue to welcome interested people
into our group. We meet the second Tuesday
of every month at 2:00 p.m. in the
downstairs conference room of the Taneyhills
Library. We have lively discussions and
members seem happy to make new contacts with
their neighbors and to have the motivation
to read and think about a wide variety of
amazing books. Please feel welcome to come

Living With Alzheimer’s: For Caregivers –
offers family caregivers the information,
tools and support they need to help loved
ones through the late stage of Alzheimer’s
or another dementia. It addresses issues
related to care options, palliative care and
end-of-life. This series is delivered in
two consecutive two-hour workshops.
Caregivers, family and friends of those
living with Alzheimer’s disease or related
dementia are encouraged to participate.
Understanding and Responding to Dementia
will help caregivers decipher
behaviors and determine how best to respond.
By the end of the session, attendees will be
able to identify common triggers for
behaviors associated with dementia, explain
the process for assessing and identifying
challenging behaviors and list strategies to
address some common dementia-related
